About the organisation
Founded in 2019, Street Storage is the only UK charity providing free, accessible and safe storage for people experiencing homelessness. From luggage and personal items to vital documents, Street Storage ensures that they are kept safe from the threat of theft and/ or damage.
About the role
Street Storage is looking for someone to join a team who puts people first, and aims to create a safe and warm environment for those who choose to store their possessions with them.
The general role would entail collecting people’s bags, cases and other dropped-off belongings to and from the storage unit. You will also be expected to greet people, offer refreshments and complete other general accessible tasks for the people using the services, or the staff.
